I am not a background artist but I play one on T.V.
I am trying really hard not to keep posting stuff from my short. I'd really like it to be as much of a surprise as possible, whether it'll be any good is a different story. I am amazed though by how responsive everyone has been about the previous post, and it's really keeping me pumped and excited as I continue to work on it. I don't consider myself a background artist, but I am doing the bgs for my film. I just finished up this one and thought I'd share it. Thanks!

looks good to me man! keep at it. this short is gonna kick ass. No offense to kick-ass bg and layout guys in the cartoonworld, but if your animation is super good, sometimes the bgs aren't as important. just need em to set the stage for the action. haha!
Yeah man!, this bg is part of a camera move, That's why it's so big. I also wanted to try to do sort of busy BG's with the details and keep the characters bold. I am usually the other way around... super simple Bg design with simple characters. I guess we'll see how it turns out. Thanks dudes.
